Casa Marina

Start with the most important meal of the day. Have breakfast at Casa Marina. The Bell Tower is Casa Marina’s Al Fresco dining restaurant. The Bell Tower serves Spanish, Filipino and Continental fare to guests and visitors. The Bell Tower has a great view of the famous Pagsanjan River, the Mountains of Cavinti and Mt. Banahaw.

Pagsanjan Falls and Shooting the Rapids
Estimated Duration: 3 Hours

Talk to Casa Marina’s Inn Keeper about an exclusive tour to the Pagsanjan Falls. The trip is 3 hours, back and forth and transports you to a tropical paradise through the famous Pagsanjan Gorge. Prepare to get wet! Casa Marina provides guests with comfortable canoe cushion seats, towels, life vests and helmets.

Tip: The best time to go is first thing in the morning. You'll be back in Casa Marina just in time for lunch.

Buntot Palos Falls
Town of Pangil, Laguna
Estimated Duration: 3 to 5 Hours

The 45 minute drive to Famy from Casa Marina is short and scenic. The Trek to the Falls is a challenging 2 hour Hike filled with steep climbs and muddy trails. The reward is fitting  though. One of the best sights in the province of Laguna. Not for the faint hearted. Google Map

Hulugan Falls (Luisiana Laguna)
Estimated Duration: 3 Hours

Hulugan Falls in Barangay San Salvador, Louisiana Laguna is a little known gem in the province of Laguna. The take off point to the Falls is 40 Minutes by Car from Casa Marina via the Pagsanjan – Cavinti – Louisiana Road. Once you reach the Take Off Point, the trek to the falls is about 30 minutes. There are local guides at the Take Off Point. Casa Marina provides dry bags, towels and hydration packs for your trek. Ask Casa Marina’s Inn Keeper about it.

Must Try: Louisiana Laguna makes great Bibingka! Head on over to Louisiana – Lumban road and try any of the Bibingka Vendors along the road. You won’t regret the side trip.

Aliw Falls
Luisiana, Laguna |  Estimated Duration:1.5 to 2 Hours

Aliw Falls is in the town of Luisiana, roughly 30 minutes from Casa Marina. There are tour guides on the jump off point entering from Lucban-Luisiana road. Entrance Fee is 20 Pesos.

Tatlong Krus and Mt. Humarap
Paete, Laguna | Estimated Duration 2 Hours

Tatlong Krus is in Mt. Humarap, Paete, Laguna. This is a fairly easy Trek with paved walkways leading up to the peak. Park at the town plaza and make your way to Adea Street. The continuous ascending trek is about 40 minutes. Once peaked, the summit offers spectacular vistas of Laguna De Bay, the Town of Paete and the 3 Crosses of Paete. The Town of Paete is 20 Minutes from Casa Marina.

Tip: Don’t forget your tripod or selfie stick. This is one of the most Instagrammable view in Laguna.

Caliraya Springs Golf and Driving Range (Caliraya)

Estimated Duration: 2 Hours
Play a round on an Arnold Palmer designed course or whack a few balls with Mt. Banahaw looming in the background. The course and driving range has some of the most captivating landscapes and sceneries this side of Laguna.

Lumot Lake Bass Fishing (Cavinti)

Estimated Duration: 2 Hours
Lumot Lake in Cavinti is the smaller twin of Lake Caliraya. Its less populated and a lot more tranquil. Get there through the Caliraya – Cavinti Road. About 30 Minutes from Casa Marina. Lumot Lake is famous for Bass Fishing. Cast along the shore or rent a boat to the middle of the lake. Either way, the result is a great time to relax by yourself or with others.

Tip: Casa Marina rents Rods, Reels and Lines. Speak to Casa Marina’s Inn Keeper about it.

In all honesty, we believe its 5:30 somewhere in the world at any time of the day. So have a cold beer, some refreshing sparkling or deep bodied red whenever you feel like it. Casa Marina serves a curated wine list, imported beers and select liquors from our cabinet.
